Rhonda Merrill has always had an affinity for animals. Her career in the pet industry began over 25 years ago as a professional pet groomer. She continued her education and apprenticed at a veterinarian office performing vet technician work. With 18 years of kennel owning experience under her belt, Rhonda is well versed in all aspects of professional pet care. In her spare time she donated money and services to help animal rescue organizations and pet owners who were unable to afford proper medical and grooming care for their beloved pets.

ROBERT SATCHELL  (Owner/Operator)

Robert, a graduate of Penn State University in Business Management, has been with Vixen Hall Kennels since 2006.  It didn't take long for Robert to realize that working with animals was more than just a job but a passion to pursue. In 2018, Robert purchased Vixen Hall Kennels with his wife Alexandra in the hopes of providing quality pet care at affordable prices. Vixen Hall Kennels, a 22 acre property, is a dog’s paradise; with wide open spaces, a large, natural pond, and plenty of love. Robert and Alexandra are excited to continue the great care that Vixen Hall provides to the pets in the Southern Chester County area.

Since graduating with Marketing and Event Planning degrees from Penn State University in 2005, Jamie looked to pursue a career in the animal industry. In 2007, she received her grooming certification and began grooming professionally and managing Vixen Hall. Her devotion to animals lead her to continue her education and branch out to the dog training field. Jamie enrolled in both the Animal Behavior College’s Dog Training Program and the Companion Animal Sciences Institute’s Diploma for Canine Behavior Sciences and Technology Program. After graduating from both programs with distinction, she began offering basic obedience training classes at Vixen Hall Kennels. Jamie has since opened up her own training business, Speaking Dog Training Company, and runs classes out of her home and makes home visits to provide the best training service possible.

Trisha has been with Vixen Hall since the fall of 2014. You’ll see Trisha either helping out with the kennel or in the back grooming. At the moment, she is continuing to advance her education in the animal world by taking classes with a Veterinarian Assistance School. Trisha has stayed with Vixen Hall because she feels at home with the staff and loves seeing all the new animals that come in on a daily basis.  In her free time she volunteers at a local ambulance company in Wakefield. Along with caring for animals helping people is another passion of hers. Chances are that if you stop by for a visit, you will see Trisha at the front desk with a small dog in her lap.
